In a country where only 22% of the population holds a bank account, the question of equitable access to financial opportunity becomes not just an economic issue, but a deeply social one. At this year’s ThinkFest, we brought together some of Pakistan’s foremost voices in finance to explore how markets can be shaped to better serve all stakeholders, not just the privileged few.
Joining the conversation were Amjad Waheed, CEO of NBP Funds; Nasim Baig, CEO of Arif Habib Consultancy; and Rukhsana Narejo from Raqami Islamic Digital Bank. The panel explored how traditional financial systems have excluded vast segments of society, and how digital banking offers a powerful pathway to inclusion.
