Irish Spice Bags! A spice bag is a fast food dish, popular in most of Ireland and inspired by Chinese cuisine. A spice bag consists of deep-fried salt and chilli chips, salt and chilli chicken, red and green peppers, sliced chili peppers, fried onions, and a variety of spices. This spicy chips, chicken and veg combo has become a modern classic here in Ireland for over a decade. We dished some variations out to TRYers to see what they thought and we think they might enjoy them.
