Micca Ferrero, owner of ICON Yachts; Nick Davies, MD of Cookson Adventures; Jay Wade, chairman of the International SeaKeepers Society; and Fabien Cousteau, founder of Proteus Ocean Group; came together to discuss the benefits of conserving the ocean, while empowering scientific research.

This partnership explored the future of marine exploration at our ICONversation event, held at Hotel de Paris at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show. Focusing on the scientific advancements that can come with learning more about our oceans, topics ranged from how we can more effectively use submersibles to how we will soon be able to travel to and research our ocean’s depths through the building of underwater habitats.

Throughout, the panel talked about the value of motivating people to protect and cherish these fragile environments. Together, we seek to inhabit the intersection of science, conservation, and tourism, with the aim of safeguarding our oceans for future generations.
