The legendary Northeast Groovers (NEG) — straight out of 44th & Eads St NE, Washington, DC — hit the stage at Art Overnight 2025 on Minnesota Avenue NE for a historic night of Go-Go.
This was NEG’s first time playing outside in NE DC since August 30, 1997, when they rocked the crowd at Minnesota Ave Day. Nearly 28 years later, they returned to the same streets that raised them, bringing that authentic crank the city has always loved.
Despite some early sound difficulties, the band pushed through and kept the vibe alive — reminding everybody why they’re one of the most respected and influential Go-Go bands of all time.
