The GRUESOME Death of F1 Driver Riccardo Paletti

Riccardo Paletti was born in Milan, Italy on June 15th, 1958. Being born into a family of real estate tycoon, he was exposed to various outdoor sports such as skiing and martial arts. However, when the motorsport started booming in popularity in 70s, Riccardo shifted his focus towards racing. From his debut in Formula 3, he slowly worked his way towards Formula 2, where he secured multiple podium finishes and earned himself a good reputation. In 1982, he got a life changing opportunity to finally enter Formula 1, where he joined the Osella team. And although his initial races didn't yield much success, he was slowly getting accustomed to the world of Formula One. On June 13, 1982, he finally managed to qualify for Canadian Grand Prix where he was running on 23rd position at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Quebec. Tragically, the F1 world had had lost a legendary racer, Gilles Villeneuve just a month prior. That said, as the lights turned green on that fateful day, something unexpected happened.
