Continuing on the TR6, in this video we're pulling off the complete drivetrain and suspension. I can't stress enough during these videos that this is NOT a tutorial or a replacement for a shop manual, but it might give you an idea of how much work is involved. The springs (especially the front ones) can be tricky to remove and require special tools. You should not use a spring compressor from your local auto parts store. It will not fit properly, and it will not be safe. Some shop manuals suggest using a jack to assist, but I don't like that method (it's not well controlled and is dangerous), and it definitely shouldn't be used on a bare chassis.
We'll point out a typical rust area, and also some typically bad repairs that were previously done! Soon the cutting and welding begins....
