Sonny's/Jet Brite Tunnel - Speedy Shine Car Wash - Des Plaines, IL

Hello everyone! In March, I was given the opportunity to tour this beautiful tunnel as they have recently gotten bought out by Wash U. Wash U will keep the Sonny's & JBS equipment here, but add some AVW to the mix. This a fairly good wash, but I'd go ahead and if you want the basic wash here, go for the $7 so your car isn't left soapy. I'd imagine that will be fixed once all the new components are installed. This car wash is really good, and will probably get better in the future, this wash is on Simoniz chemicals for now until they switch over to the chemicals that Wash U uses. This wash layout reminds me of Jet Brite villa park before they got renovations. Except that site had 50-inch side top mount side washers instead of the 28-inch they have here.
