Problem: EV not functioning
Machine: Subaru forester eboxer 2019
Response by vehicle : gradually EV mode stops working and auto engine start / stop do not work. Idle stop not working. This will reduce mileage upto 3km per litre.
Story: this happened to my machine 1 year ago, gradually engine auto start stop stopped working,but there was no error, hybrid system was also working well. Finally after a year of stopped function a village engineer from Sylhet (who normally do electrical work) checked it and changed my 2nd battery under hood (right side of the engine 12v, 45 ahm , cca 430 battery ). Now the EV is working as fresh as it can be.
Reason: 2nd battery under bonnet, right side of vehicle is out of date
Solution: change the battery matching original feature (12v,45ahm, 430CCA.) erase any errors occurred during low battery (mainly shown on meter board)
