Using the Graphic iOS app to prepare a sewing pattern for projector sewing

A quick overview of how the Graphic app can be used on sewing patterns.

I am using it on my iPad . I bought myself and have been using for a couple of days.

I’m still learning to use the app but I am very excited to share it with my fellow sewists.

For the purpose of this demonstration I’m using the Deer & Doe, Plaintain tee. This is a free pattern you can get from their website.

Some of the features that are useful for projector sewing:
Importing files into the app.
Layers: turn off or delete.
Mirroring and rearranging pattern pieces
Changing the line thickness, type and colour for visibility
Adding margins. I like to use the size of my fabric as my canvas size and create a cutting layout. This helps me save fabric and time since I don’t have to chase around my piece and move my fabric.
Measuring! This is done with the help of labels. I’m using centimetres but inches are also an option.
