📚 Chapter 5 Vocabulary – Reading Koine Greek
οὐ / οὐκ / οὐχ / οὐχί – not (negation with indicatives; assumes an affirmative answer in yes-no questions)
μή – not (negation with non-indicative moods; assumes a negative answer in yes-no questions)
εἰμί, I am
ἐστίν, he/she/it is
εἰσίν, they are
λέγω, I say, speak
ἔχω, I have, hold
ἀκούω, I hear, listen
γινώσκω, I know, understand
θέλω, I want, wish
γράφω, I write
εὑρίσκω, I find
βλέπω, I see
λύω, I loose, untie
