Undercover in a United Pentecostal Church in Colorado Springs - Part 1

I left the Independent Fundamental Baptist Church at age 23 when I was in college, and two of my friends left the United Pentecostal / Apostolic Church about a year later. I went “undercover” to their church’s Heritage Youth Conference in summer 2015 at First United Pentecostal Church of Colorado Springs.

The speaker is Brother Vaughn Morton from Fresno, California. I’m pointing out some red flags common in high-control religion. My friends and I had to dress as though we were Pentecostal (even though we weren’t) to gain access to the church. Our ex-Pentecostal friends helped us blend in.
