Did a quick demo for a friend, both devices are sounding great and might just put it to public.
BAE 1073 DMP vs Rupert Neve Design RNDI shootout on a 5 string jazz bass running passive.
Recording method:
RNDI into RME UFX Mic in , with roughly 16dB of gains on the input side
1073 DMP set to 50dB of gain, and output is set at around 11 o'clock, Line output into UFX at +4dBu .
Volume matched by ear this time (it was a quick demo) , mixed equally on TotalMix, Line output into Apogee Jam 96k into iPhone and recorded via the camera app.
