Apple TV’s hit epic sci-fi show Foundation has returned for its third season. Season 3 jumps forward 152 years to the time of the Mule (Pilou Asbæk). The Foundation has expanded its influence, while the Galactic Empire has started to lose its grip on the galaxy as its decline continues.

Today, Apple TV+ unveiled the thrilling trailer for the third season of “Foundation,” the epic hit saga from storyteller David S. Goyer. Based on Isaac Asimov’s award-winning stories and led by Emmy-nominated actors Jared Harris, Lee Pace and star Lou Llobell, the 10-episode season will debut globally with one episode on Friday, July 11 on Apple TV+, followed by new episodes weekly, every Friday through September 12. The Apple Original drama is produced for Apple TV+ by Skydance Television.

About Isaac Asimov:
Isaac Asimov was an American writer and professor of biochemistry at Boston University. He was known for his science fiction and popular science works. Asimov was a prolific writer who wrote or edited more than 500 books.

Asimov wrote hard science fiction. Along with Robert A. Heinlein and Arthur C. Clarke, he was considered one of the "Big Three" science fiction writers during his lifetime. His most famous work is the Foundation series, the first three books of which won the one-time Hugo Award for "Best All-Time Series" in 1966.
