Take a trip back in time with me to the Almendres Cromlech, sometimes known as the Portuguese Stonehenge. The Cromlech dates to various stages in the Neolithic periods, and has over 95 standing stones! The archaeological site was discovered in 1966 by Henrique Leonor Pina and is one of the many neolithic structures found in the region!
