Driving the 2008 Ford Mustang GT500KR // Bring A Trailer

Driving the newest iteration of this Mustang, back to back, gave me a good glimpse at just how far technology has come in a little over a decade. Honestly, the while the handling performance may not be up to par with the newer 'Stang, you can give me this one. It's raw and simple. It still feels like something Caroll Shelby would endorse fully. The exterior looks like a proper remake of the iconic Shelby cars of the '60s. I fear my opinions are casting an age range on me, but I don't care much. The simplicity of these cars is just such a breath of fresh air these days. You couldn't rely on modes to enhance your driving abilities, you just had to be a good driver. The sound of this car is something to behold as well. The newer Mustangs just don't sound as good as these older models. There is something automated about the way the new cars sound, out of the box, that just don't do it for me.
