HARBOR FREIGHT 6" DROP HITCH REVIEW 57417

I was trying to use my 2-inch dual ball hitch from Harbor Freight, but I ran into an issue. The Harbor Freight hitch was 2 inches, while the receiver hitch was 2 1/2 inches. I needed a reducer sleeve, but it wouldn't fit the Harbor Freight hitch. To make it work, I had to grind down and modify the reducer sleeve so the 2 1/2-inch receiver could properly attach to the 2-inch Harbor Freight hitch.

This Class IV ball mount hitch fits 2 in. receivers and has a 6 in. rise/drop. The dual ball hitch has a ball diameter of 2 in. and 2-5/16 in. Each ball is constructed from heavy chrome plated steel for durability. With a load capacity of 6000 lb., the hitch mount is constructed with extremely tough aircraft grade aluminum that won't rust or corrode.
