Trying to solve a reoccurring fuel contamination issue with my outboard. I keep getting grit in my Carburetor which stops my motor.
I just had a $500 Service on my motor and again my motor failed.
If you want to see a really good Youtube vid about stripping one of these carburetors, have a look at 'Sailing SV Sarean' • How To Service Your Outboard Carburettor &... , as they do a really good explanation. After watching this video I literally had the carb off my outboard, stripped, cleaned and motor running all within 30 minutes.
