finishing up my old sketchbook for a weekly art challenge ✸ sketchbook in a week challenge

Sometimes, finishing up sketchbooks can take forever and you just gotta intentionally set aside time for drawing — which is what I did for this video. I attempted to fill the remaining 11 spreads of this sketchbook in a week, so I can finally move on to my other ones (I'm a sketchbook hoarder, any other artists relate?)

I've had this sketchbook since 2016, and so while the last few spreads took me seven days to fill, the entire sketchbook took seven YEARS! Wild, I know! To be fair, I wasn't big on the paper then and I'm not big on it now — it works only with pencil. I've realized I need my sketchbooks to be able to take various media well as I do like experimenting in them and trying out new paints and techniques.

I'll do a sketchbook tour of this one later this month, and I wonder how long it will take me to fill up my other sketchbooks? How long does it generally take you?
