4K | 아시아나 시드니-인천 Spacious Seats and Tasty Bibimbap Asiana Airlines Sydney to Seoul Airbus A350-900

In this trip report, we take you on the journey flying with Asiana Airlines in Economy Class. departing from Sydney International Airport (SYD) on an Airbus A350-900 to Incheon International Airport (ICN). I think OZ6023 is a great option for those who want to enjoy Korea upon arrival or a quick stopover for connecting flights to neighboring countries such as Japan. With this flight added, I think Asiana could become a serious contender for Korean Air's and Qantas' loyal customers.

Embarking on their first red-eye flight lasting just under 11 hours which operates twice a week (at time of filming), our journey commenced with a visit to the SkyTeam Lounge, accessible to Priority Pass members due to the closure of Premium Plaza at that late hour. The SkyTeam Lounge offered a welcoming and cozy atmosphere, although there is room for improvement in terms of their food presentation.

Upon stepping onboard the flight, we were greeted by a somewhat dated cabin, which was intriguing for an aircraft as young as three years. It could very well be attributed to the color scheme. The Airbus provided seats that were notably spacious and comfortably cushioned, which was a significant advantage for catching some rest during the flight. While it was possible to purchase extra legroom for an additional USD200, I personally didn't find it necessary.

During this flight, we were offered 2 meals, a light snack, and drinks were offered throughout. It's worth noting that Asiana delivered a strong economy class experience with their meal service. The cabin crew's attentiveness and efficiency left me thoroughly impressed. Stay till the end and you will get to see a rare Boeing 747-400.

I’m looking forward to trying another route with them next time!
