ICE trike single handed conversion - ICE Adventure 20 converted for one handed operation

In this video I show you how I converted an ICE Adventure 20 recumbent #trike to #single #handed or one handed operation. In this case that means all the controls are on the right side of the handlebar. The trike in this video was an e-trike and all the controls and display for that were also accommodated on the right side of the handlebar.

This trike has an internal geared hub and 9 speed cassette, so it now has 2 thumb shifters on the right hand side.

The parking brake lever was moved from left to right.

These trikes usually have the left hand operating the left wheel brake and the right hand operating the right wheel brake. This configuration had to change for this conversion, and that was achieved using a dual pull brake lever. This one included a pivoted balancing system to ensure an even pull on both brakes.

This conversion was for right handed operation but there is no reason why the same thing couldn't be done for left handed riding.
