How I improved my head unit for ONLY £20! - 2009 Mercedes Benz W204 C200 Part 39

Something else that has bothered me since I bought this car was the head unit. Some of the paint had blistered and peeled which made it unsightly. I've been living with it as it was still in 100% working order. One option would be to replace the head unit but it would have to be programmed to the car (if this was possible with a used head unit). Alternatively, just the control panel can be replaced which is what I did. I found a used head unit on eBay for just £20 and I cannibalized it for the control panel. The job was successful and it looks a whole lot better than it did before.
