A Newly Rehabilitated Urban Forest Park in Manila - ARROCEROS URBAN FOREST PARK
Nestled beside Pasig River in Ermita, Manila, Philippines.

This park is a serene 2.20 ha green sanctuary often dubbed "Manila's Last Lung"
In this walking tour we'll explore the park's lush tiled concrete pathways, wooden elevated walkways, variety of tropical trees, native & ornamental plants.

It was developed in 1993 and re-opened in 2022 after rehabilitation and expansion of the park. This area previously served as a Spanish colonial center known as the Parian de Arroceros and then used as a military garrison during the American Rule.

The park has an initial 150 trees that are century old and now presently hosts over 3,000 trees through reforestation efforts.

🚇 How to Visit: Located along Antonio Villegas St., right by the LRT-1 Central station (Arroceros).
