In this lecture from the late 90's, a younger Professor Searle continues to assess the computational model of the mind, focusing specifically on arguments aimed toward his "Chinese Room Argument."
In the latter portions of the lecture, Searle claims that brain models are sufficient for explaining the nature of consciousness. This is, of course, a highly controversial claim within contemporary philosophy of mind.
