COP26: Rishi Sunak wants UK to become ‘first ever net zero’ financial hub

Chancellor Rishi Sunak has announced he wants the UK to become the 'first ever net zero aligned financial centre'.

Speaking at COP26, he said all financial institutions and listed companies in the UK will be forced to publish plans on how they will transition to net zero from 2023.
