Hi everyone,
welcome to the first part of the classes.

You will learn how to:
build an interesting journal base
expand and connect the journal pages

Prepare: glue, ruler, pencil, trimmer/guillotine, creasing iron, needle with a larger eye, punch.

We will decorate four pages of the journal (gray envelope).
Prepare:
butterflies from the cutting sheet (if you want, cut them out before starting the journal)
graphics
a strip with letters
fabrics

*Important:
When connecting the pages, remember to stick to the fabric that holds them together
to use the pockets comfortable.
Do not throw away any scraps.
Fabric strips should differ in width and length, i.e. one wider and longer, the other
narrower and shorter. Use this rule throughout the journal.
When sticking the pocket from the inside of the page, be sure to keep a distance from
the edge of the page - a few millimeters. Use this rule throughout the journal.

Cut the “Carte Postale” and “Warwick Gardens” sheets to 19.5 cm x 25 cm (according to the video instructions).

Decorate the envelope.

First, the outer sides. To diversify the background, match the book pages (in Polish) to the size of the envelope.

Cut the “Inward Journey” sheet to 16 cm/6.29 inch., then cut a fragment to 12,5 cm/4.92 inch. According to the instructions, cut the
indicated fragment 6.29 inch x 4.92 inch (16 cm x 12,5 cm) to get two triangles from it. Follow the video instructions.

Witaj w pierwszej części kursu.

Dowiesz się w niej jak:
zbudować ciekawą bazę journala
poszerzyć i połączyć strony journala

Przygotuj: klej, linijkę, ołówek, trymer/gilotyna, bigownicę, igłę z większym oczkiem, przebijak/szpikulec.

Ozdobimy cztery strony journala (szara koperta).
Przygotuj:
motyle z arkusza do wycinania (jeśli chcesz wytnij je przed rozpoczęciem journala)
grafiki
pasek z literkami
tkaniny

*Ważne:
łącząc strony pamiętaj, aby dobrze dokleić materiał, który je spaja.
Nie wyrzucaj żadnych skrawków papieru ani tkaniny!!
Paski tkaniny powinny różnić się szerokością i długością tzn. jeden szerszy i dłuższy, drugi
węższy i krótszy. Stosuj tę zasadę w całym journalu. To pozwoli stworzyć fajne, ciekawe warstwy.
Przyklejając kieszeń od wewnętrznej, czy zewnętrznej części strony, pamiętaj, aby zachować odstęp od
krawędzi strony - kilka milimetrów. Stosuj tę zasadę w całym journalu.

Arkusz “Carte Postale” i “Warwick Gardens” dotnij do rozmiaru 19,5 cm x 25 cm (zgodnie z instrukcją video).

Ozdabiamy szarą kopertę.
Najpierw zewnętrzne strony. Żeby urozmaicić tło dopasuj strony książek (po polsku) do rozmiaru koperty.

Arkusz “Inward Journey” dotnij na 16 cm, a następnie dotnij z niego fragment na 12,5 cm. Otrzymany fragment 16 cmx 12,5 cm przetnij tak, aby uzyskać dwa trójkąty (postępuj według wskazówek video).
