Originally titled "Evening Beat," Brass Bonanza has been a staple of the Hartford Whalers, and the city of Hartford itself. The song has cemented its legendary status in the city's culture, being used in several other sports teams after the Whalers left for North Carolina (Where they are now known as the Carolina Hurricanes) such as UConn Men's Hockey, Hartford Yard Goats, Connecticut Whale (AHL & PHF teams, the AHL team is now known as the Hartford Wolf Pack,) and more! This track is also infamously used in UrinatingTree's "The Carolina Hurricanes: A Brass Bonanza" leading to a running joke where commentors type phrases such as "Come to our games!" in videos that involve the said song. The Brass Bonanza is still used by the Carolina Hurricanes as a part of their Whaler Night throwback games.
