Cod Fishing Chesil Beach for 12 hours Live!

Hello everyone and welcome back to the channel!

Today we took the ambition of catching a cod down chesil and tried to the max!

We planned to and managed to do a 12 hour live & the support was amazing all day!

We got some lovely rag worm and blow lug the day before and headed for the beach near ferry bridge end.

We were about 150m from the wreck mark and fished 3 rods.

Baits in the morning where getting regular bites and we caught our first fish which was a mackerel.

We used this mackerel for a bass/ray/conger bait but had no luck.

After lunch time we literally had 0 bites all day. There was no colour in the water & there was a constant supply of weed in the surf.

We stayed positive and tried to catch some mackerel before sun down but failed in that endeavour too.

As the sun set, the bites started picking up however our time was numbered.

We managed to catch a baby pout which we threw out but had no attention on it.

Before leaving we had some taps on a whole cuttlefish bait & the rig came in tangled so it was most likely a strap conger!

If we would have stayed til 12pm I reckon we would have seen some fish!
