Dear friends,
Overcoming barriers, bringing cultures together, and building bridges through the power of Tibetan Mantras has always been my great wish. By focusing on what is connecting us, rather than what is dividing us we can all contribute to create a better world.
I would like to invite you to dive into an almost 30 minutes of beautiful inner journey with me, as I practice the traditional so called 'SHIBASHI' Tai Chi / Qi Gong movements. Combining the Chanting of the Tibetan Mantras with the Chinese Art of TAI CHI CHUAN is a wonderful way to attain immediate inner calm, physical agility and harmony and health.
The 18 'SHIBASHI' movements are:
1. Activate Chi and harmonize breathing
2. Gently opening the chest
3. Swinging the rainbow
4. Moving the arms in a circle
5. Reverse reeling forearm
6. Paddling in the middle of the lake
7. Turn back and point to the moon
8. Lifting the Chi ball
9. Push hands diagonally to the front
10. Move hands like clouds
11. Lifting the moon out of the lake
12. Push the waves
13. The pigeon spreads the wings
14. Punch with the fists
15. The wildgoose is gliding
16. Moving the great wheel
17. Hitting the ball
18. Collect the Chi, store the Chi

Please join me in chanting the preliminary Tibetan prayers and the 21 Powerful TARA Mantras in Sanskrit as well as the dedication that I am chanting in this clip. You will find the full text on my website with this link:

I personally love 'Wisdom of Tara' as it pays a musical homage to TARA, who is considered to be swiftly transmitting her powerful positive energy to us, the moment we call her.
With all my love,
Yours truly
DECHEN
In this video clip you will hear the beautifully composed music by Helge van Dyk to enhance my chanting of the 21 Sanskrit Mantras of the Sublime Buddhist Goddess Tara, the Swift liberator. As a Swiss music composer who has also been producing my last three albums, Helge plays the piano on this piece which we called 'Wisdom of TARA' and which can be heard on my last album 'emaho - the Story of Arya TARA'. The Indian Sitar is played by Thomas Niggli and the very gently played percussion has been played by Dieter Dyk and Satnam Ramgotra. The Violine and Viola is played by Jonathan Allen, Cello by Fabian Müller and Bass by Björn Meyer. All musicians are unique in their playing and have also played on my other albums. It is a privilege for me to have this beautiful musical collaboration with them.
