Last week we drove our new tiny home on wheels north to begin putting our off-grid capabilities to the test. So, naturally 😂, we decided that for our second trip in the van we ought to put the capacity limits to the test too. While our 170 sprinter van has seemed like plenty of room (almost too much room!) for the two of us, this week will prove just how comfy the new layout is when we add a 3rd human and a medium-sized dog!!! We all travel towards Tobermory and Manitoulin Island (living, traveling, sleeping, cooking & POOPING 💩 in 1 van). Could you live in such tight quarters with two other people and a dog?!

After a long 4 months of this VAN LIFE BUILD project we finally have enough electricity, water and other essentials in place to put our new tiny home on wheels to the off-grid test. We head 4 hours north of Toronto to explore some of Canada's most stunning wilderness with one of our very best friend's Lee and her dog Occy! The adventure begins with a hike along the Bruce Peninsula at Lion's Head where we get lost and nearly don't make it back to camp! Luckily the ‪@Vanwives‬ were there to save the day 😊 . The crew then heads towards Manitoulin Island where we learn the hard lesson that things aren't as free and open as they were before COVID. Readjusting to tiny living isn't so bad when you're in such great company! All this and more in this week's van life vlog!
