In October 2024 I released an instructional 3-book series titled "Ultimate guide to DIY Bucks". This book series covers everything you need to know to become a serious threat to taking the best mature bucks in the area, no matter where in the country, or and the type of terrain you hunt.
This book series will take years off the learning curve will likely cover information and hunting strategies and plans that you would never hear elsewhere.
It was mainly authored by John Eberhart who has exclusively hunted public, free walk-on, and free permission properties and has 58 record books to his credit coming off 38 different lands. Greg Godfrey from Tethrd is the co-author.
Other kill story contributors are Mark Kenyon of Meateater and Wired to Hunt podcasts, Garrett Prahl of DIY Sportsman You Tube channel, Andy May who hunts all around the country, and Ernie Power who is a co-owner of Tethrd. Combined there are 78 short kill stories with photos to confirm the information you're reading at the time.
This book series has no fluff in it and is straight forward and may very well upset some hunters that hunt pristine ultra-managed, fantasyland, zoo-type properties as seen on most high profile TV and YouTube shows where many monster bucks roam the property and they are simple to kill.
