Rabindranath and the then Tripura// রবীন্দ্রনাথ ও সেদিনের ত্রিপুরা

রবীন্দ্রনাথের সঙ্গে ত্রিপুরার এক অবিচ্ছেদ্য সম্পর্ক ছিল। তিনি একবার নয়, দুবার নয়, সাত সাতবার আগরতলায় এসেছিলেন এখানকার রাজার আমন্ত্রণে। তাই স্বাভাবিকভাবেই আমাদের মনে প্রশ্ন জাগে সেদিনের সেই আগরতলা কেমন ছিল? আর তখনই শুরু হয় ইতিহাস অন্বেষণ। এক কবি যিনি হয়ে উঠবেন বিশ্ব বীণার নিপুন শিল্পী, গড়ে তুলবেন সারা জগতের সঙ্গে এক সাহিত্য সাধনার সংযোগের সেতু, সেই তার হয়ে উঠার ঊষালগ্নে অনন্য বন্ধনে জড়িয়ে যান এক রাজপরিবারের ঘনিষ্ঠতায়। এই নিবিড় সখ্যের টানে তিনি বার বার এসেছেন উত্তর পূর্ব ভারতের এক ছোট্ট পাহাড়ি রাজ্যে। এই যোগাযোগ শুরু হয়েছিল বেশ কিছু আগেই।
