Feel my gaze, by and by
Shall I wait, to take her hand
But how the Hourglass slows its sand
Sands on her shore, Ship on her Seas
Wind in her Valley, leaf on her Breeze
And we move, I may be done in
My steady old world, begins to spin
We are just two lives bound for
Lands unseen, Lands beyond the door
Am I Fool to go on like this?
Stumbling towards ecstasy, Fumbling towards bliss
Halleluiah
Drifting away, upon Moon River
Her smile so bright, if only a sliver
We’ll lift up our eyes, take flight wherever
Just West of this World, North of Forever
A Magic Carpet, a Midnight Flight
To far off Realms beyond the Night
We ‘ll let the Heavenly Horses run
And throw a rope around the Sun
We are more than the bird in the well
We are the Wind, the Light on His Thunder Swell
We’ll soar til dawn, the Sun coming soon
Like a Wandering Star and Restless Moon
We'll sail until the morning is nigh
