This is a follow up video to my previous video that covered trouble with the loading mechanism on a CLD-3090.

In this video, the first half is dedicated to installing an aftermarket AC-3 Mod Board to allow this player to output 5.1 surround sound to an AC-3 demodulator. On the second half, I fall down a rabbit hole of cleaning the spindle motor grip ring, then the laser carriage guide rod, then the laser assembly itself.
I might do a part 3 of tuning the laser assembly so chapter search doesn't take as long. Thanks for watching!
