Composed in 1938 and actually a part of the Suite for Variety Orchestra, the Second Waltz is commonly known as a part of the Jazz Suite No. 2. Recently famous for its use in Stanley Kubrick’s film Eyes Wide Shut, it features a light, almost playful character and a masterful blend of diverse styles.
