The theme is borrowed from the Soviet civil defense poster. In the «H-hour» project the cross-section of a tent, inside which are depicted soldiers sitting on benches, is compared to Plato's cave. To Plato, the cave represents the sensual world which humans inhabit. Much like the prisoners of the cave, they believe that through their sensory organs they perceive true reality. However that kind of life is nothing but an illusion. Only vague shadows reached them from the true world of ideas. Like «he magus of old, the author penetrates the core of things and helps the prisoners of the cave to
overcome the human part of their nature, to leave the confines of the microcosmof their gaol and, hoping «to obtain life from the heavens» to set out on a mystical journey in order to pass through all the ordeals of such a journey and, at the end of their path reach the true light and true reality. The artist uses the camera lens through a glass, darkly in order to uncover the voyage invisible to the world.
