Sailing my 35 foot boat, a Westerly Ocean Quest, Zephyr IV, from Gosport to Brighton Marina. We use basic navigation from a chart, backed up by the navigation app on the chart plotter for our route planning. Light winds and Blue skies made it a very pleasant sailing trip. We sailed through the gap in the Submarine barrier off Portsmouth and then the Looe channel off Selsey Bill. As we approached Brighton we were guided by a pod of Dolphins who stayed with us for quite a while, jumping around us and playing in the bow wave. Don't you just love Dolphins. An easy passage with the tide under you and a fair wind, minimal navigation required.
A perfect example of gentle coastal cruising where you can make tea and just soak it all in.
