In the last 20 years, this country has overthrown its government three times — in 2005, 2010, and most recently in 2020 during the COVID lockdowns. When the people of Kyrgyzstan are fed up, they don’t wait. They take matters into their own hands — not with online petitions, but by storming parliament and forcing change.

In this video, I’ll take you through the heart of Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. From traditional food to Soviet history, and raw conversations with locals, this is a journey deep into a place where democracy has a different meaning — people power.
