Botanical Bubbles: Creating a Zine Start to Finish

In this video, I show you how to make a zine inspired by the idea of botanical bubbles. I explore different materials such as acrylics, watercolors, collages, markers, and pens to create a background of bubbles over which I draw a botanical composition with many layers of flowers and leaves.

Mixed media paper from Claire Fontaine (A3 size)
Watercolors: Vang Gogh Lavander (525), Van Gogh Quinacridone Purple Red (592) and Ecoline (801)
Acrylics: Amsterdam Ultramarine Violet (507), Amsterdam Venetia Red (316)
Ink: Liquitex Iridescent Rose Gold
Pens: Purple Uniball Signo 0.7, Bronze Uniball Signo, Pink Gelly Roll Moonlight, and Pink Staedtler metallic pen
