Attaching and using accessories with any high pressure tank is a simple 2-step process. One: attach the gear to the tank and turn on the tank's main valve. Two: turn off the tank's main valve when you are finished and bleed the pent up pressure inside your attached accessory by depressing the dispensing the trigger, handle, thumb-button or switch on the accessory that releases gas. You don't necessarily have to detach the equipment from the tank. But it's best not to leave it pressurized for long periods of time when it's not in use.
So remember...
i) Attach gear & turn on the gas
ii) Turn off the gas & depressurize the gear when you're done
