Steve Martland schreef voor Orkest De Volharding de compositie Danceworks.
Vanwege het succes werd dit werk vaak geprogrammeerd.
In 1997 maakte Jaap Drupsteen in opdracht van de Nederlandse televisie (NPS) een videobewerking bij deze muziek. Hiervoor gebruikte hij alle technieken die destijds met video mogelijk waren.
