“We’re confident that this will be the best trial in West Michigan for lots of reasons,” Dan Frayer, president of the West Michigan Mountain Biking Alliance, said about the new trail at Johnson Park near Grand Rapids. Why? The vertical drop for one. Professionally built by Spectrum Trail Design the trail will open in 2026. Whether it's six or eight miles long depends on if the WMMBA can raise the $100,000 needed for the additional two miles. (Neil Blake | MLive.com)
