Sorry about the poor sound from my new phone.
Quenched and cooled... now to go in the oven @200°C for a half hour or more to relax the metal so that it's not brittle.
I'm curious to find out how hard the steel is for the finished knife.
Next will be some steel from an industrial ball mill. 3 different sizes... I like the golf ball size of the middle one and I'm hoping I can make a decent whittling knife from the small one. Papa, mamma and baby bear ?
PS... NO synthetic clothing for this play !
