Arctic Monkeys - The Ultracheese [Acoustic Cover]

An acoustic cover of The Ultracheese by Arctic Monkeys from their perfect and misunderstood album "Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino".

That album is definitely in my top 10 of all time, The Ultracheese is definitely my favourite song from it and it is by far my favourite Arctic Monkeys song. This version is inspired by the perfect live version that Arctic Monkeys delivered on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert, which can be seen here    • Arctic Monkeys Perform 'The Ultracheese'  

Where do I even start with The Ultracheese and that album? I could write an essay on that record and this song. The Ultracheese however is in a league of its own. That album simply wouldnt work without this at the end. It would be pure madness from start to finish without this song but what the Ultracheese does is bring it all to a perfect close both musically and lyrically.

Covering this song has been my Everest for some time but I realised I was just overthinking it, which is why I've finally managed to get it recorded. That said, it is still an incredibly difficult song to sing and probably the hardest I've ever shared. I just had to though because I love it so much. I always say that Bruce Springsteen's Tunnel of Love was a huge coming of age record for me and Tranquility Base is also up there, this song especially. Some people think that record is just pure rambling and "elevator music". If that is you, you are wrong and I urge you to listen again, and actually listen. Regular viewers of my channel will see that I wear Arctic Monkeys t shirts a lot but I've only previously covered one song of theirs. I really did need to address that and this is the beginning.
