Producer Brendan O'Brien and engineer Russ Fowler dial up a guitar tone for Pete Droge's "Two Steppin' Monkey" from his 1994 debut Necktie Second at Atlanta's Southern Tracks Recording Studio.
Great tone begins with Brendan’s hands, a Gibson guitar and a Marshall amp and is finished off by Fowler’s subtle tweaks to the mic placement.

Available for the first time on vinyl, Necktie Second (Deluxe) has been expanded to include two studio outtakes and five newly recorded stripped-down renditions of fan favorites, all on translucent vinyl in a gatefold jacket.
The legendary Brendan O'Brien produced and mixed the original titles and studio outtakes. The deluxe reissue was remastered and cut by the equally legendary Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering.
This reissue comes on the heels of Droge’s recent long player, Fade Away Blue.
