Health is absolutely important for everyone who would like to live a healthy life happily. Therefore, maintaining a healthy lifestyle is a serious requirement, and for me, it combines a balanced diet and consistent exercise.
Food is not only fuel but also enjoyment for me. Then I try to get a balance between healthy and delicious. I like to eat chicken or fish, instead of pork or beef. Besides that, I love fruits and vegetables. I sometimes enjoy the sweets, but I try to limit them.
In addition, doing exercise is so interesting and healthy. I have found some activities that can easily associate into my daily life. Three mornings per week, I get up early for a walk or running outdoors. I spend about 30 minutes each time for this activity. Immersing myself in the morning atmosphere and in nature is a wonderful way to begin the day.
On the other hand, evenings are the time for playing badminton. A couple of times a week, I play badminton with my friends in men doubles or mixed doubles. It helps me improve my health, my muscle strength and my flexibility. Furthermore, it promotes me to develop social skills such as making friends, expanding relationships, and practicing communication skills. Importantly, it helps me get a better sleep quality.
On weekends, I often go swimming near my department. I just swim slowly and immerse myself in the water and see the blue sky. It brings me the relaxation and ability to concentrate, especially for me who are easily distracted. It also help me relieve tension and reduce stress after I work all days with a lot of deadlines and pressures.
I believe that I have a healthy lifestyle. I focus on a balanced diet and consistent exercise, both of which contribute to have good both physical and mental health. To answer the question “Is there anything about your health and exercise habits that you want to change?”. I think I need to go to bed more early because good sleeping is very necessary for a healthy lifestyle.
In conclusion, my approach to health and exercise is all about finding what works for me. It is about generating a good habit that keeps me feeling well, both physically and mentally. It should be a constant work in progress, but by being mindful of my choices and associating activities that I enjoy, I'm on the way to healthier and happier life.
