One of the top things I wanted to do on my trip to Peru was the trek to Humantay Lake. There are multiple ways you can visit Humantay Lake (aka Laguna Humantay), but the most popular, and they way I did it, is as a day trip from Cusco, Peru. I struggled hard on this hike due to the elevation and lack of food in my stomach, but I’m so glad I made it to the lake, both Humantay Lake and Salkantay Glacier were stunning in their natural beauty. This Peru travel destination is a must-see for any adventure seeker.
