Exploring the GM Ringway, a 186-mile orbital trail around the outskirts of Greater Manchester.
Stage eight sees the Ringway head out towards the northern reaches of the Peak District, continuing along the Etherow Valley before joining up with the Ogden Brook to cross The Wilderness, the highest point of the whole trail, to reach the Chew Reservoir. It concludes with a leisurely stroll down the Chew Valley past Dove Stone Reservoir into Greenfield.
