This Intamin prefabricated track (aka plug 'n play) wooden coaster opened in 2001 and was the first of its kind. Since then four others have been built: Balder at Liseberg (2003), El Toro at Six Flags Great Adventure (2006) and T Express at Everland (2008) in South Korea. These are by far some of the most popular wooden coasters ever made, leaving many enthusiasts wondering why no parks have purchased one in the last six years.
Colossos' 159 foot, 61° drop propels the train at speeds up to 68.4 mph over its seven airtime hills.
Heide Park is located between Hamburg, Hannover and Bremen in Soltau, Germany.
