Manticora from SexyIce Studio Review: Artificial Evolution 0199

This highly anticipated action figure from SexyIce 2019 has finally arrived. This figure, Manticora, references the name of a mythological beast (the manticore) hailing from Persia that had a human face, a lion’s body and a tail that shot poisonous spines. However, this figure departs from that namesake and instead presents an anthropomorphic representation of a humanoid horned beetle, Hexarthrius Mandibularis if I were to make a guess.

SexyIce has been producing Sci-Fi highly articulated action figures in the 1/12th scale with a biological infection lexicon and a dystopian futuristic style. Their first figure, Mantis, seems to be followed in suit by this Manticora.

SexyIce also provided some spare joints which was cool.
