⚖️ NEW Lawyer Finds What OLD Lawyer MISSED! Judge Fleischer: No Probable Cause!

What happens when a lawyer misses something important in a case? Can a new attorney save the day and change everything for their client?

Welcome to Judge Fleischer's courtroom where attention to detail can make or break a case! Today we have two very different defendants with two very different outcomes.

⚖️ CASE #1: THE ATTORNEY WHO SAVED THE DAY
A defendant is back in court for not following his bond rules. But his new defense attorney discovers something shocking - the DIMS (District Attorney Intake Management System) doesn't say WHY police stopped her client in the first place! The DIMS is the online system where officers enter case summaries after the DA accepts charges. The old lawyer completely missed this huge problem.

When the new attorney points this out, Judge Fleischer wants proof that the DIMS must include a reason for the stop, and be the basis for a probable cause hearing. She shows him proof, and everything changes.

The judge finds no probable cause for the original arrest! Before letting the defendant go, Judge Fleischer gives him a stern warning about drunk driving and public safety.

From a defendant who got lucky with a new lawyer to one who has a pretty big ask from the judge...

⚖️ CASE #2: THE IMPOSSIBLE REQUEST
A young woman missed her required drug test because of work. Now she's asking Judge Fleischer to schedule her "random" drug tests around her job. The judge has to explain why that completely defeats the purpose of random testing.
